Do you provide the plans for my home addition?

No, we do not provide in-house architectural or engineering services. We require stamped, engineered drawings from a licensed professional before we can bid an addition. The drawings define the foundation, framing, and load paths, which is what lets us give you an accurate price and build it to code.

How long does a home addition take to build?

It depends on the size and scope. A small bump-out or porch can take a few weeks, while a large room addition, second story, or attached garage can take several months. Permit approval can add time before construction starts, especially in spring and summer. After reviewing your drawings, we give you a phased timeline.

Can we live in our house while the addition is being built?

In most cases, yes. We build the exterior shell of the new space first and only open the existing wall once the addition is enclosed, which keeps disruption to a minimum. If your project needs major utility shutoffs or extensive interior work, we'll tell you ahead of time whether a short stay elsewhere makes sense.
